The Brewers hit the road for a game in Red Wing on Friday night looking to continue a goos start to the 2014 season. They got great pitching and defense that night. Mitch Bockenstedt threw 4 perfect innings, followed by Dillion Lee throwing 6 2/3 innings allowing 1 ER to earn the victory. The Brewers and Aces were scoreless through 10 innings.
In the top of the 11th, Joe Lucas led off with a bunt single and after getting him to second base Trent Simek laced a single to left to plate Lucas and give the Brewers a 1-0 lead. Alex Beckman drove in another run with a single to right plating Hollingsworth for a 2-0 lead. Dillon got the first out in the bottom of the 11th, but after a coule hits and a run his night was complete. Joe Lucas came on shut the door and earn the save. 2-1 final in 11 innings moving the Brewers to 2-0 on the season.
